Are you taking the courses you'll need?

High school juniors and sophomores: As you put together your schedule for next year, keep in mind courses you'll need for colleges you might be considering. For instance, will 2 years of the same foreign language suffice, or should you seek depth with 3 or 4? How about lab sciences, will you have what you need by the time you graduate?

Here's a link to information about course work and other criteria required for admission to UVM. Please note: some of our programs require more than the minimum and most successful applicants to the University present course work well in excess of our general requirements.

You can find admissions criteria for most schools by visiting their web sites and searching for information about applying to that school. - Hope you get your dream schedule!

Admissions decisions go online Friday, March 14 @ 5pm

The time is almost here! In approximately 48 hours we will post the final wave of our admissions decisions. Meanwhile, our review committee continues to give careful consideration to every remaining application. Review is not an easy job... Our applicant pool is especially impressive in both quality and size (more than 21,000) this year.
You can find out your admissions decision online after 5pm on Friday, March 14. Remember to have your Login ID and PIN ready; these were sent to you by mail when we received your application. Decision letters also will go out on Friday.
